Release Claims is workflow software operated by Lukany LLC. It is not a rights-management organization, law firm, licensing authority, distributor, or agent for any author or platform.
Who we are and how to reach us
Release Claims (release.claims) is operated by Lukany LLC, a company based in the United States. Billing questions, cancellation help, refund requests, and legal notices go to support@release.claims. Charges appear on card statements as RELEASE.CLAIMS.
The service
Release Claims lets music authors publish a verified author page, connect public catalog profiles, and receive and resolve structured claim-release, safelisting, licensing, feedback, and complaint requests in a private inbox, and publish per-track sheets and a license check for the people who use their music. The Free plan costs nothing. Creator and Studio are paid subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly, for the workspace that operates author pages; their current features and prices are listed on the pricing page. Automatic replies are configured by the author and are sent in the author's name; the author is responsible for their content and for the decisions they apply. Alerts posted to a Slack, Discord, or Telegram channel connected by the author are delivered under that service's terms.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you subscribe on behalf of a label, collective, or company, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it. Keep the email address you sign in with secure; you are responsible for activity in your workspace.
Author and workspace responsibilities
Administrators must submit accurate public profile information, maintain control of connected accounts and domains, and only act on claims they are authorized to manage. A verification badge records a source-linking event; it does not prove copyright ownership.
Requester responsibilities
Requesters must provide truthful, public, relevant evidence and must not submit secrets, private platform credentials, unlawful content, harassment, or bulk automated requests. Submission does not pause platform deadlines or guarantee release.
Billing, cancellation, and refunds
Creator costs US$12 per month or US$120 per year and Studio costs US$39 per month or US$390 per year. Prices are in US dollars, billed in advance for the chosen period, and exclude any taxes that may be added at checkout where required. Payments are processed by Stripe: you pay with a card or another method offered by Stripe Checkout, and Release Claims never receives or stores your full card details. Promotion codes can be applied at checkout and are subject to the conditions shown when they are issued.
Paid features are provisioned automatically as soon as Stripe confirms the first payment, usually within a minute. If your plan has not updated within one hour, contact support and we will fix it or refund the charge.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, until canceled. Cancel at any time from Manage billing in your dashboard, which opens the Stripe customer portal, or by emailing support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep paid features until then and are not charged again. Switching between Creator and Studio is prorated by Stripe.
Fees for a billing period that has already started are not refundable, except that we refund duplicate or mistaken charges, charges for a period in which we could not provide the service, and any amount required by applicable law. Send refund requests to support within 30 days of the charge; approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. If you intend to dispute a charge with your bank, please contact us first so we can resolve it faster.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it still fails, the workspace returns to the Free plan and its records are preserved subject to the retention rules in the Privacy policy. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; a new price applies from your first renewal after the notice period.
Paid offers between creators and authors
Authors may sell fixed-price licenses, playlist placements and priority handling from their page. Payments are taken on the author's own Stripe account: the author is the seller and the merchant of record, the card statement shows the author's name, and the terms shown on the offer are the author's terms. Release Claims (Lukany LLC) provides the page and the checkout and keeps the platform fee shown in the author's dashboard; Stripe charges its card-processing fee to the author's account and pays the author out. A buyer may request a full refund within 14 days if nothing was delivered; a priority-handling buyer may refund from the request page once the promised answer window has passed without an answer. Author payout data may be reported to EU tax authorities under DAC7 where the law requires it.
Support from fans
Authors may add a Support button to their page. A supporter chooses an amount from US$3 to US$500 and pays it once, by card, on the author's own Stripe account; it is a voluntary payment to the author, not a purchase of goods and not a charitable donation. Release Claims keeps 5% of each payment on the Free plan and 3% on Creator and Studio, and Stripe charges its card-processing fee to the author's account. The author may refund a support payment within 14 days of the charge: the supporter gets the full amount back and Release Claims returns its share, while Stripe's processing fee is not returned. If a card payment on a page is disputed, that page's paid offers and Support button are paused until the dispute closes.
Acceptable use
Do not impersonate an author, scrape profiles through this service, evade rate limits, upload malware, probe other workspaces’ records, or use the service for unsolicited messages. Access may be suspended to protect users and the service.
Third-party services
Connected music and social platforms control their own content, licenses, claims, APIs, and availability. Stripe processes payments under its own terms. Release Claims is not affiliated with or endorsed by connected music services.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. Release Claims does not guarantee that a platform will release a claim, that a request will be answered within any particular time, or that a verification badge proves ownership. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Lukany LLC for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect, and continued use after that date is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Lukany LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and nothing in them limits consumer rights that apply where you live.
